Visit to Post 169, Roseville

The Vice Commander Representing Area 1, Court Bradbury, paid a formal visit to Post 169, where District 31 was conducting a Visitation at the Roseville Post.

It was fortunate timing, in that the particular night of the Visitation coincided with the Post 169 Boys State and Girls State recognition.

It was truly a fortunate meeting night, for the ladies of Post 169 Auxiliary rose to the occasion and put together a terrific meal.  (This Historian had not had dinner!).

Post 169 Boys State and Girls State recognition

It always amazes me how composed and natural the representatives for Boys State and Girls State can be. These children, if you really want to be picky and refer to them as children, are an amazing reflection of an ever maturing society

... at least I am amazed at the maturity level presented by these young adults. If these young people continue their current path, who knows, they might reach the heights attained by many present in the room to which they spoke.

After the fine presentations and meal, the Post 169 and Post 169 Auxiliary members retired to their respective meeting rooms, where the Vice Commander Representing Area 1 Court Bradbury was introduced by Post 169 Commander John Schance.

This, of course, only after a merry dance led by Don Chapman.

After a brief period to allow the capture of a photograph of the Vice Commander Representing Area 1, Court Bradbury with Post 169 Commander John Schance, the evening drew to a close, and it was a pleasant evening at Post 169.

Thank you Post 169,

and thank you Post 169 Auxiliary.

A pleasant evening at Post 169
