 | District 31 Meeting in Placerville
| An area Vice Commander is more a focus than what might be first thought, when a District Meeting is attended. This was demonstrated at the February 25th meeting of District 31 at Placerville Post 119.
It seems that it is the Area Vice Commander, when present, who sets the tone of the meeting. I cannot explain it, but I have observed it. | | | | In order to achieve a united effort, common goals must be identified. Perhaps it is these common goals, that are recognized by those present, which creates this focal point. Perhaps it is the personal leadership skills of the Area Vice Commander. This was clearly demonstrated at the February District meeting in Placerville, with District 31 Commander Robert Richard, and Area 1 Vice Commander Court Bradbury.

| | District meetings are held at a Post within the District, which means the ladies of the Post Auxiliary not only to meet and share ideas, but also to come up with fundraising opportunities, such as serving lunch, and/or a raffle. District meetings are a fun way to meet and share, learn and earn. |
