The Vice Commander huddled together with Joe Handy and Earl Chinnock, to talk about important matters affecting the American Legion, and the 40 & 8.

The Area 1 Vice Commander is always the one to take the lead in any situation.
The lack of a chapeau by one voyageur was noted, and appropriate steps were taken to correct the situation ...
while voyageurs Fred Litman and Paul McGinnis looked on, and smiled.

While the voyageurs were settling the world's problems,
the ladies of the Voiture gathered to talk "Girl talk" ... I was surprised at all the smiles,
as the ladies were not invited to join the Voyageurs in the adult beverage room
hmmmm... maybe that was the reason for the smiles |
|
In any event,
all of the fun and joy of a Voiture gathering took place and through the skilled hands of some of the ladies of the Foresthill Post Auxiliary Unit, a wonderful meal was prepared and offered to the Voyageurs and their ladies.

Always alert, the Area 1 Vice Commander was quick to recognize the great meal put together by the ladies of the Foresthill Auxiliary Unit and to rise and propose a toast to them. Thank you Post 587 for allowing the use of your facilities,
and a special thanks to the Post 587 Auxiliary Unit for the wonderful meal. |
