Paso Robles Teen Named Department of California’s
American Legion Eagle Scout of the Year for 2009
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - May 16, 2009 
Eagle Scout Matthew Kudija was selected as 2009 “Eagle Scout of the Year” for the Department of California. Matthew is a member of Venturing Crew 103 and Troop 60, chartered by Civil Air Patrol Squadron #103. Matthew is eligible through his Grandmother, American Legion Auxiliary member Esther Kudija.
Matthew resides in Paso Robles with his parents Mr. and Mrs. David Kudija and is a student at Mission College Preparatory. Matthew’s Nomination Application has been submitted to the American Legion National Americanism Commission for consideration of the prestigious honor of "Eagle Scout of The Year 2009" for National.
