State Board will be in West Covina Post 790 on the last week end in April. (April 26-27) They are using the Hampton Inn at 3145 East Garvey Ave North of the 10 Freeway. Phone number I received is 626-967-5800. Mention American Legion when ordering rooms. Rooms $79.00 plus tax. (Double or Queen) Includes Hot Buffet Breakfast. 50 rooms blocked till April 4th. Cancellations after April fourth you will be charged for one night lodging. Other Hotels near by are the Holiday Inn, Best Western West Covina and Indigo Courtyard Inn.
I plan to start the Executive Meeting at 9:00AM and the State Board at 10:00AM. Expect written and oral reports from all State Officers and Vice Presidents. I expect written reports and oral membership reports from the State Board Members. Plan to have ideas on increasing membership.
If all goes well we should be out in one day. Dug out and banquet to follow.
Been making visitations, but finding lot of Outposts don't meet. If you can e-mail me your Outpost meetings and locations I will try and attend.
