Steven C Weber Department Historian | 2009 - 2010 DEPARTMENT HISTORY CONTEST The time has come... download flyer Before you know it will be Convention time in Fresno, California and with it the final preparation of our Post or District Narrative History and/or Annual Yearbook. To assist those interested in competing in the Post or District Narrative History and/or Annual Yearbook Contest, please refer to your Officer's Guide (44th edition Pages 169 through 177). Follow the guidelines as closely as possible. It is imperative that you submit your entry(s) to the Convention Headquarters Office in Fresno NO LATER THAN 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 25, 2010. No entries will be accepted after the deadline. Judging will begin approximately 1:30 p.m. on June 25th. Certificates of participation will be awarded to all entrants. First, Second, and Third place Trophies will be awarded to the winners on the Convention floor. The First Place winner will compete for judging in the National competition later this year. In addition, there will be a District level contest. Judging for district narrative and/or yearbook will follow the same rules which apply to posts.
