Annual Legislative Day - American Legion, Department of CA Tuesday, April 13, 2010 - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm State Capitol, Sacramento The Department will hold its Annual Legislative Day on April 13th this year. This is a very important event and all Legionnaires are encouraged to attend. This is your chance to meet your legislators and their staffs and educate them on veteran’s issues. Beginning at 8:00 am in the California State Association of Counties (CSAC) Conference Room (1020 11th Street, 2nd Floor Sacramento, CA 95814, 1 block north of the State Capitol); attendees will have a Continental Breakfast, catered buffet lunch and hear from key legislative speakers. After lunch, Legionnaires will walk 1 block to the Capitol to attend key hearings of the veterans committees and also to visit their local legislators.
