Leaving Juneau Wednesday, 10 pm, the Sun Princess found itself docking in Skagway on Thursday, May 17th, at 6 am. The population of Skagway is under 800, but I counted at least 17 jewelry stores. At 5 pm the Sun Princess set sail for open waters and the return to Seattle, with a brief stopover at Victoria, British Columbia. On board the return trip a formal dinner was scheduled. |
